Coding and AI Education for Kids in Salmiya

Salmiya is one of Kuwait's most densely populated areas, home to families of many nationalities and school systems living close together in apartment buildings, yet often far from specialised activity centres. Taqnihub Academy's live online lessons reach a Salmiya household's apartment directly, letting a child learn coding and AI in the evening with zero commute, in a small group with a real instructor tracking their progress closely.

A solution built for how Salmiya lives

Many Salmiya families live in apartments and residential complexes where the nearest specialised technology centre may be in another area entirely, requiring time and difficult evening parking to reach. Live online coding lessons solve this completely, with a child learning from their own room, no parking search or navigating streets crowded with cars and pedestrians alike.

This matters especially in Salmiya, where a destination may look close on a map but heavy traffic makes any evening trip far more draining than the distance suggests.

Live online lessons mean the quality of instruction does not depend on how close an activity centre happens to be to a family's building; it reaches the home directly at the same standard, regardless of which part of Salmiya a family lives in.

An investment in university admissions

A student in Salmiya planning to apply to a university inside Kuwait or a scholarship abroad needs more than grades alone today, and a real coding project offers proof no general certificate of attendance can match.

We build a real project with students aged 12 to 16 at the end of every level, so a Salmiya student reaches application time with a portfolio built up over years, not a rushed effort put together in a single summer.

In an area with schools following American, British, and national curricula side by side, a real project becomes a shared measure of skill that cuts across curriculum differences and works for any application, at home or abroad.

Quality that isn't left to chance

The academy is led by Abdulrahman Masoud, a software engineer who has spent more than seven years actually building technology products, meaning what a Salmiya child learns comes from real practical experience rather than a recycled textbook.

The student moves through five structured levels, from Scratch through web development, Python, AI, and backend basics, spanning 48 live lessons, with a real project and certificate closing each level, giving Salmiya parents a precise picture of their child's path.

Because groups stay small, the instructor can follow each child closely and correct a misunderstanding the moment it appears, which fully offsets the lack of specialised training centres near every corner of Salmiya.

Convenience for a Salmiya family

Lessons are fully online, with no need to search for parking or navigate Salmiya's crowded evening streets, and evening slots fit naturally after a long school day.

Groups stay small, capped at six students, and parents receive an update after every project describing exactly what their child built, a relief for families living in busy apartments and managing overlapping work and study schedules.

When a Salmiya family travels, lessons can simply resume once there is a stable internet connection, without the child losing their weekly slot or falling behind.

What a child actually builds

The child starts by designing their own game in Scratch, then builds a personal web page using HTML, then writes real programs in Python that solve genuine problems, each a complete piece of work the child can run and explain at home.

From there they take on an AI-assisted project, closing the path with a small backend project showing how applications actually work behind the scenes, including how data is stored and processed, not just how a screen looks.

Every project is kept and presented, becoming over time a genuine portfolio a Salmiya student can use later, whether in a university interview, a school club, or a simple presentation for family.

How a parent can judge real progress

After every project, a Salmiya parent receives a specific update describing exactly what the child built and the skill it demonstrates, so progress is never something to take on faith but something visible and reviewable directly.

At the end of each of the five levels, the certificate of completion marks a clear milestone, but what matters more sits beside it: a finished project the child can explain start to finish, describing the problem it solves and how the code behind it works.

Across a full year, a Salmiya parent should see their child move from a simple game to writing real code, and eventually to a small AI-assisted or backend project they can describe confidently to family or teachers.
